Using iphone without AT&T then signing up with AT&T Later: Please HELP

Hey Everyone,
I was looking to purchase a 4gb iphone before they are out of stock. My contract is up in two months with Verizon. If I buy the iphone and activate it without the phone service can I go back in 2 months and activate everything with a 2 year contract?

You mean you want to unlock it right now and then properly activate it through itunes 2 months later?
If thats the case I am sure you can do that all you'll have to do is resotre your phone after a couple of months and then plug it in you computer and follow the instructions.

Once you do an iPhone restore it will be just like new and iTunes will let you do as much with At&t as you'd like!
