Not exactly the greatest poll idea, but hey, works for me. I don't have a preference because the Nano is not in my league of iPods (the Classic is, however).

The fattys are not my choice though. I waited for ages that the student iPod Discount would come to Germany and now I'd rather get the MacBook I want elswhere because I get a higher academic discount there even if I'd sell the iPod. Maybe they'll introduce an iPod Pico which is only Music + Display.

I think the red and green ones are abominations. But I don't mind the black or silver for video, but since I have a black 5.5G for video I'd go for the blue one.

Silver would be my first choice and then red. I like the new nanos but am torn between the nano and the touch.

The only ones that "look ok" are the silver, black and red ones. The others seem too washed-out. :(

Yeah, I don't care for the look either but I'll reserve final judgment until I see one in person, hold it, use it, etc. I'm also curious how watchable the small screen is when it comes to video.

I would have picked up a nano if they'd introduced the Orange to the nano, but now... maybe I'll get a zune.

It's very watchable. I don't even have great eyesight, but I can comfortably watch TV shows on it without glasses. The image is very sharp and well-defined. Combined with the small size, the video performance is most impressive.

i bought a black nano because i felt that it would be best for viewing video - which is the main reason i bought a new nano. i like the black like i thought i would for that very reason now that i have one and carry video around. i think that the orange would have been a little distracting for viewing video for me, but that is just my opinion.

the new nano is just a fantastic little piece of technology for the price. the touch is too pricey for the storage capacity but the wifi support is a great addition. maybe next upgrades will get me to spring for it? but what is the realy batter life on the touch if you use the wifi, and listen to music, and watch video? no one seems to have reported on that yet, or i have not seen it.

Yes, good point about the brightness. I've also been using it to screen different cuts of a little video I'm making for a friend of her cats---it's insanely convenient! Previews in a pocket!

To get back to the poll question: (RED) for sure. Looks nice and feels good.

Black is the best for watching video and its just sexy.:rolleyes: If I had a second vote I would go for the red.

Good thing you live in Chile. In Venezuela, they'd have to censor it, and they'd all be issued out by the government.

Though, if they sold them in North Korea, they'd all have to have Dear Leader's face emblazoned on the screen. :eek:

I really disgust the blue and green ones, their colours are so clinical it's really uncanny. Perhaps history will prove me wrong, but those colours are one of Apple's biggest mistakes since they thought iPods needed socks (or 100 dollar protective leather sleaves. btw, does has any actually seen one of those in action?)

well........ i would think that there are a lot of med professionals that might find those colors for just that reason........ but i might be wrong as usual..... i would hazzard that those two colors might be the lowest sellers of the bunch.... but does apple even break down sales by color outside of in house?

I would definitely buy a mint green one or maybe a (red)....I'd have to see it in person to make sure it wasn't too obnoxious! I've checked out colorwarepc.com before and most of the colors are too much for me, but at the same time, you don't want to pay 449 bucks for something that's really similar to the original color, right?

I think the Nano would be good for my daughter, I on the other hand would not get one for myself as the scroll wheel is too small and I can not navigate it well. If I was going to get one it would be red (as I said it would not be for me, but for the little one).

The black Nano iPods are the most stylish. I'm not crazy about the other colors. Too much commitment for me. I'd rather buy a black one and change its carrying case color, personally.
