bluetooth file exchange

I'm trying to exchange a 2.5 gig file over bluetooth. I have it all set up and started to transfer the file however it just says:

Transferred: Calculated...........
Time Remaining: Calculated...........

I think I've found the problem.
 
Are you saying the file is too big?

How might I go about transferring it then?
 
I could but in the name of science I'm investigateing other methods


what about this computer to computer network jazz?
