Okay, Boards of Canada/Nightmares on Wax/Leftfield fans will hopefully like this, if not, why not give it a try anyway.

About two weeks ago, I released my EP/Album of solo stuff. I've released lots of stuff in the past, and it's mostly been OK, but not a work of art. This new stuff however, I've really put a lot of time and effort into, and I'm really, really pleased with the result from a personal perspective. I've already had over 600 downloads (pretty good considering nobody's heard of me), and very very good response from one large forum on the 'net.

Download! (http://www.vuze.com/details/ZHR6TCOB2UASNRS5ERHI3XJ7MRYM5OOT.html)

You'll need a client torrent, such as Transmit (http://transmission.m0k.org/), BitRocket or Azureus.

If you could let me know what you think/rate it/add me on MySpace, I would be incredibly grateful!

Alex

Thanks! It gets more laid back towards the end of the album, kind of like it's got two 'sides', the more Nightmares on Wax - style first half, and the more Brian Eno/Boards of Canada style second half...

Okay, this is an opinion coming from a person that doesn't listen to tons of music from this genre. I liked it, didn't love it. The drums were probably the most disappointing part, I thought they were a little to "electronic" and it may have helped you make your music more distinct to try to use more varied, natural sounding drum sounds. I know that can be difficult to achieve, just a thought.

Overall it was cool, I enjoyed it. Good job.

Good good, the new stuff I'm working on (already) uses more acoustic drums (I only got a drum kit recently)...
