MPEG2 Component 4 QT?

I got the mpeg2 component and thought it would allow me to export an mpeg WITH audio and it still doesn't seem to be working? The mpeg itself plays fine in QT...I've tried eporting to DV, AVI etc.

What am I doing wrong?

Still no luck...is there physically a component? I can't seem to find one, it appeared to just update QT on install.

Really just trying to figure out how to convert mpegs to a format I can save with audio and import to idvd....

Can't you export the audio in QT seperately? I have never worked with iDVD (as I do not have an internal superdrive), but in DVD Studio Pro you import the video and audio files seperately and they are "put together" in the authoring process.

Unless I'm missing something I don't see an option to export the audio seperately? They all seem to be "greyed" out? Does dvdstudio pro import mpegs?
