Using Multiple Network Adapters

Is there any way to make some applications use one network adapter while other applications use a different one?

Force some applications to use wireless vs wired.

Basically my school caps wired downloads at 5GB/month, but does not cap wireless access. I want to be able to force Transmission (and Safari when I do large downloads) to use the wireless, but everything else can use wired so I can benefit from the additional speeds.
