I have a 2ghz intel Macbook, but my Tiger disks are for the 1.8ghz intel Macbook and won't install.
I've been told that after copying the install disk to the hard drive, the disk image can be somehow modified to overcome the machine specificity of the install disk before burning.
Anybody got any ideas? At this late stage I don't want to buy yet another Tiger, particularly when I already own a legitimate copy - it just won't install.😕

1.8Ghz MacBook install DVDs are only legitimate copies for installing on the 1.8Ghz MacBook they were shipped with. Altering them to install on any other machine is breaking the license agreement. If Apple shipped you the wrong DVDs they will happily supply the correct ones in exchange.
