Combining iPhone credit limit?

Is there a limit to how much iPhone credit you can combine into a purchase from the Apple Store? For example, I want to buy five separate $100 iPhone credit numbers from people. I then want to use these credits towards buying a Macbook.

I dont think so, because its a store credit, not a discount.

I used 2 iPhone $100 credit towards the purchase of my MBP.

According to the FAQ, you can use up to four at a time online or up to six at a time in an Apple Store.
