Canon MP600 Scanning Problems

Hi, i've downloaded the printer and scanner driver but i cant get the scanner to talk with my MacBook Pro. It won't do anything.

Hi, I have a multifuncional printer PRIMAMP510. The problem is that the MAC doesn't read the scan. To solve that I have to cancel the job in the multifunctional, press scan in the Mac. That for almost every sheet I have to scan. That makes all the process very slow. Any solution? Thanks
