Might as well line that phrase up for your next tattoo, as the situation is likely permanent now that you have a HUGE Apple logo on your chest. :p
Seriously, couldn't you have at least gone with something smaller?

There should be a minimum age requirement for tatoos, for obvious reasons.
If you are allowed to mess up your body like this, you might as well drink and drive :D

Putting that in your post with that picture pretty much guarantees that you're not going to get laid again, ever. Assuming you even got any in the first place. The only other place on your body that a tattoo this large and horrendous could look any worse would possibly be your forehead. Although I think your asscheek would be a far more appropriate location.

The OP should pay very close attention to this post and included picture. If you're going to nerd out and get a corporate computer logo tattoo, at least make it look classy. The guy with the one on his arm looks like he has some self-confidence at least, the OP looks like he's scurry away at the first sign of romantic interest from the opposite sex.

I used to do some tattooing quite a few years ago now.
Even though its large you could get work done around it later on which will break up that large block of black some.
I am just curious though why did you want it so large?.....didnt the artist mention it was not the best site or size?
Are there really people with the Windows logo on them as well?......oof imagine the crap you would get for wearing that on your shoulder etc, actually perfect place for a Windows logo would be on someones ass.

If you weren't one to shy away from the opposite sex then you should consider it now. That thing is way too large. It's not the tattoo or the logo, it's the size in comparison to your small, underdeveloped body. That tattoo artist could have offered you a little advice and had to reduce the size slightly.

Everyone has the right to express there opinion especially on a public forum where someone posts with a picture.
IMO the apple symbol is not a bad tattoo but one on your chest as huge as that looks silly, i'm surprised the tattoo artist didn't mention that when they were going to do it.

It's a bad picture.. sorry.
Get a tan, and the black will look a lot better.
As many people here know, I am a religious followe of St. Tropez - and my tattoo's (which are all black, btw, as the OPs) look a lot better when I'm tanned. Actually, they're gorgeous!
It makes it look large 'cos hes stretching his t-shirt and it fills the whole of the streched area. Topless and with a tan, it will look alright - acceptible at least.
Whilst we're on the subject: cut your hair. The opposite sex (to an extent) prefer someone who takes care of themselves.
Get a tan (and you'll look Apple-trendy, not Apple-nerdy, with that tat!) and your hair-did.

Thanks for the defense, but honestly, I'm not surprised nor bothered by the criticism. It's the internet, I'd be a fool to expect anything else. I suppose it is rather large, but oh well, I like it. "I love Apple"

Apple has only been around for 20yrs, and far less with that particular logo.
You being so young have a long time ahead of you to possibly fall "out of" love with Apple; change the logo, the technology they produce become obsolete as our fish masters enslave us all during the eventual collapse of the internets.
This could be viewed as a girlfriend name tat, who is to say in the next 80yrs something better or even way cooler may come along? At least a persons name is "personal" by definition. A corporate logo, is just a sign of the times here in the US.
My point being, if you got any tat, it must mean something to you. Even if its a record of that "awesome night in Cabo!" So, you obviously want to say something about yourself and I applaud you for that openness.
But I can not help my uncontrollable laughter at your choice of display for this meaning, both in size, location and color.

Apple has only been around for 20yrs, and far less with that particular logo.
Apple has been around for 31 years as they were founded on April 1, 1976. They've been using the bitten apple logo for at least 30 or so of that. It was rainbow colored until 1999, but even now it's used in several colors and styles. The shape has been the same since '76.
Why did you think Apple had only been around for 20 years? They were already a huge company 20 years ago, having had massive success with the Apple II and having had released the first Mac 3 years earlier.

At first I thought it was fake until I saw the redness of the skin around it. I have to admit, but I do think the tattoo is a too large. But if you like it, then that's what matters. If you don't later on, you can always laser it off. I think it's a little unfair for people to criticize how he looks other than the tattoo. I think he's cute in a sk8erboi/sagger kind of way.
Even though I think it's a little much to get an Apple Inc. logo tattoo, I have seen quite a few people with a Batman or Superman logo tattoo and I think they're quite cool! I think the other guy's red Apple Inc. logo tattoo on his arm is quite nice, but I still think it's a little big. The other one on the back of the neck looks good, but all of them look like these guys just stepped off the assembly line

Seriously I just don't get it. I don't really care for tattoos in general, but getting a tattoo of a huge corporation's logo when you know full well that the company could go bankrupt, turn evil, get really sucky, etc and you'll still have their (possibly old) logo on your body?!?! Getting a tattoo for a specific product is even worse. No, like the ones that come with the computers. It's less than 3 inches in diameter.

I say it is your body and you can mark it however you wish. With that said, personally I would never put a corporate symbol on my body. I love wearing around clothing like an Apple T-shirt or whatever, but as far as a permanent body mark I don't like it. What happens in 10 years if Apple sells out? Don't say it will never happen, because it does everyday in the corporate world. Will Apple always be successful? Who knows in 20-30 years what will happen and you will still be forced to wear that Apple around unless you have it removed.
Anyhow, I will again say it is your body and your choice to alter it how you wish.

I've considered getting an Apple logo tattoo, but I was thinking of something about the size of a quarter or half dollar, and of putting it on my upper arm. up to now, I've decided against. Maybe I should drink more, and more often.:p
Clarus is an excellent alternative, and if I were to decide to go ahead with an Apple tat, the dogcow would probably get the nod over the corporate logo.
That thing you got is monstrously huge, dude.
Rock on.

Apple's logo isn't cool enough to be a tattoo.
Sorry, facts is facts.
And big doesn't help, although small looks even worse.
I say just steer clear. I'm getting the FireWire symbol on the back of my neck.
It is cool, and shows my devotion to a dying technology.

No, it just seems like people like to bash things around here, so I figured I'd take care of that before it even got started.

It'll be Photobooth, so reversed. You can fix that somewhere.

These guys are going to seriously regret these tats in a couple of years. Then again, they provide something to laugh at so I'm not going to bash them too much :D

It was taken with PhotoBooth. Sorry, I forgot to switch it around. Yeah, the red, orange, and yellow all run outside the apple. I wanted it to be different Sorry about that pic not being the best.
Trust me, I won't regret it. You may think I will, but I won't.

OP, you don't think so now, but you will regret that in years to come. It's going to show up through most clothes and it's not even like you can wash it off, man...you gotta carry that forever...
You could wear black t-shirts for the rest of your life I suppose, but your future employer might take exception. You're a braver man than me.

i considered getting a tattoo a while ago. for months i explored symbolism, my existence, the meaning of life, and death. after much thought and many awesome designs thrown in the trash, i decided against getting a tattoo. maybe i will someday when i truly find something that defines me. i will kill myself first if that thing ever ends up being an apple logo or ... dare i say a windows logo.
i wouldn't even put an apple sticker (or any bumper sticker for that matter) on my car.

Sigh.

The only way I could see getting one is if you weave it into a larger design, I like the Adam and Eve idea that someone had.
As for the others, don't worry, laser removal is getting better by the day.

It doesn't show up through any of my shirts, not even white ones. I don't wear any thin shirts or anything like that.

No, I don't have a life. Art school is my life, therefore my mac is my life.

If you think mine is fake you're wrong. It's 100% real. I can photoshop quite fine too, but I didn't use photoshop on my picture.

To all those who made crappy comments, it's her body and up to her what she does with it.
Not sure I'd have the Apple logo, but everyone has their own choice.
