Just saw a commercial on Comedy Central for the ``new'' George Foreman grills - in colors. Watch the commercial, they're strangely similar to the 5 iMac/iBook colors.
Has anyone else seen this commercial?

Video Link?
Anyone?
Most of the time Comedy Central puts their stuff on their website.

This reminds me of the thing that came up a while ago called the iBrator. That takes me back.

Remember, Apple started this multicolor device craze. By the way, do have fun on the Protoss homeworld.

Yeah I've seen those, they are cute, but the color idea you know first came from the apple craze.
Well atleast they cut the fat.

Yes, I saw the commercial and the first thing that came to my mind was Apple. Thought about the iMac color scheme. Just points out the great Apple design that so many want to copy. It should be called the iForman Grille collection! :p

I haven't seen the commercial, but multi-colored George Foreman Grills have been around for several years... I first saw them in a Bon Marché (Now Bon Macy*s) in 1999, and again at a Marshall Fields in 2001... They even have them in family and individual sizes.

I know somebody posted this comment in the past, forgive me whoever you are!
It sees strange that Apple started the whole colorful technology thing and now everything they make is like white and silver. Also strange that there's a ton of companies (like the George Foreman thing), that are JUST NOW getting into the colors thing like, 5 years later! Know what really annoys me, have any of you seen the poor abused word 'technology' used to sell everything from trash bags to kitty litter (seriously!)? 'With new fresh step technology!' I guess we can thank Intel for that...

I guess I never paid attention - I thought they were new!

these have been out for a long time, like a year or two. along with a million other translucent, rounded, fruity-colored products... Apple started a design revolution that crossed into many other design areas, some products were just influenced by the iMac but many are plain rip-offs

But the George Forman Grills aren't the only thing that come in colors - or used to - its not as popular now. It just shows how much of an impact Apple had on *everything* from a design standpoint.

I remember TVs with colored panels. There was that TV they touted as a pet, with an analog clock in the front.
Dell added color Panels to their Laptops
Compaq had those removeable panels on their towers.
The VW iBug... Just funny
Changable Backs for Mice
HP Printers with colored fronts
Epson Printers in different colors (Bondi was most common)
Don't forget everyone and their dog attaching "i" to what ever they were doing.
