Big cities like Los Angeles don't count, so I can't play. I've lived in small towns, but nobody famous came from them.

well, I can go for my university.
Julia Louise-Dreyfus graduated from there.
Cindy Crawford dropped out.
Charlton Heston is an alumnus.
And of course, most illustrious of all, the talented and charming Mary Kate and Ashely Olsen (sp?) will be attending beginning this fall.
Wow. That's a handful.
Oh, Northwestern, thank you for being so special.
We do also have Nobel laureate in Chemistry, John Pople (Nobel 1998, I think). Maybe some chem geeks recognize him.

Although, I've seen Fred Anderson and Steve Jobs from a distance (I was on DeAnza Blvd at Mariani and saw Fred Anderson getting out of a car on 1 Infinite Loop). I was at the (semi-new) Brewhouse built literally on the Apple campus about 2 months ago and saw Jobs and a few others walking between buildings.
This is all given, of course, that I live and work about a mile from the campus - and have made it a regular activity to go spy over there for little details.

lmao...but it sounds like a friendly place overall
mediocre is better than what you find in california much of the time
while you don't find mediocre in california as a general rule and lots of famous hollywood and music industry types, on the flipside our state has an incredibly high number of psychos and urban street gangs
there must be more guns (especially concealable handguns) here than in some third country tin horn nations:rolleyes:

I live near Santa Monica, where Robert Redford and Shirley Temple both lived. No, I never met either of them. But I have been to Sundance in Utah.

Apparently he didn't do so well, and often would be unable to discern what floor he was on. He lived on the floor above my sister, but was constantly seen trying to get in to the right room on the wrong floor.:D There are other, not so flattering stories of his behavior as well.

Let's see
Jeff Daniels lives a few miles away from me, Bob Seger lives (or used to live) in Ann Arbor, where I go to church, and my wifes friends' friends sister (cousin?) married Tom Arnold. That's all I know of.

I'm going to venture a guess that the occupants of the "right room on the wrong floor" were female?

I went to the same high school has John Wayne, Tiffany Brissette (Vicky the Robot from Small Wonder), Hayley Carr (Dead Babies, For the Boys), Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), Tim Matheson (Animal House), and DJ Joseph Hahn (DJ from Linkin park, we graduated in the same year 1995).
