Hi Folks,
Here is what I did:
-Updated to iTunes 4.7.2 and iPhone firmware 1.0.2.
-Restored my iPhone.
-Ran AppTapp and received a successful message.
-Rebooted.
-Ran iNdependent jailbreak and received a successful message.
-Rebooted.
Problem: I still get the activation screen with the planet earth picture instead of the green battery with the "Unlock" slide bar; but looking on the "Custom" tab of iNdependent I can see the AppTapp Install App icon.
Any ideas?
Additional notes: I previously ran the AnySIM unlock procedure under iTunes 4.7.1 and almost got all the way through but ran into the "couldn't find bytes to pach" error message at which point I restored and ran into the above problem.
