Hi gang. I'm running XP under Boot Camp 1.4 on my 24" aluminum iMac. Has anybody tried any different (as in better) video drivers? I know this video card is a dog, but I think it should be doing better.
Thanks,

Why not just install Catalyst 7.9? Why the bit about swapping files, or overwriting files?
I guess my question is: can I un-install the BootCamp drivers and install catalyst 7.9 drivers?

Catalyst control panel won't install. Follow these steps:

Thanks, PMR, that looks like it's worth a try. Worst that can happen is I have to go back to the BootCamp drivers.
[edit] I can now confirm that this works great! Not only that, but in one of the later posts in that same thread, there are instructions on how to install the ATI control panel. It works really well, and shows what the HD2600 Pro can really do. I'm running FS9 at 1600x1200, 4x AA and 4x AF, and it looks great, and runs at 24 FPS very smoothly.
You should make this a sticky.
