iPod touch Stock in Comet

Just walked into Comet and managed to buy an iPod Touch. It's a week 37 so will post back in a while and let you know if the screen is faulty.

Seems mad that they have them in there but still waiting for my pre-order from Apple (which I will cancel if this one is a dud).

...and it's perfect!
 
Comet in Crawley have quite a few 16GB unfortunately mine did turn out to have a bad screen.

When I first opened it I suppose I was overwhelmed. Its not until a few hours have passed and you start to look closer that you notice the niggly things.

I took mine back to the store this evening and got a refund. The staff were excellent but I did ring Apple support first and got a reference number so Comet could send it back.

The worrying thing is that Apple Tech knew nothing of this fault - they did agree that it was faulty though.
