Developing a web site on the Mac

Hi,

Just wanted to get some tips for developing a website on the Mac.

1. iWeb (I have iWeb that came with iLife '06) seems interesting enough. But
is there a place where some more professional looking templates can be
downloaded or bought?

2. What are the good alternatives to iWeb, that have good professional
templates? Is RapidWeaver the choice here?

I have a site created using iWeb (which needs updating btw!). However, you should look at Softpress' Freeway Express or Freeway Pro. I'm not into writing code & wouldn't claim to be a developer. I'm a user & the DTP type feel of these programs is good for me.

I would really recommend Rapidweaver. It has some great features and there are many themes available, and it's not too hard to customize them yourself.

I've been using DW since it's first release. I've used GoLive, PageMill, FrontPage, HomeSite, ColdFusion Studio, and NetObjects Fusion.

RapidWeaver is the hardest friggin' program I've ever tried to use. Maybe it's just too easy for someone with my experience, and I have trouble thinking outside the box.
