Maybe there is hope yet.....seems like it would be safe in the 9th Circuit, but one never knows.....

It doesn't matter what they say about it unless the higher courts refuse to hear the appeal, but I'm guessing that this case will go all the way to the Supreme court and hopefully this ruling will be held. and this thread will be going to the Politics forum very soon.

All they need are warrants. Even through FISA. Which can be done after the fact, and secretly, but still allows for oversight.
And yeah, to the PRSI forum this will go.

Exactly. It wasn't like it was impossible for wiretaps to be done secretly AND legally, this administration just decided to completely ignore the available process and go their own way.
