Just wondering how many people had to re-enter all there music and movies after the update. Also wondering how many people had the ipod bricked by the update.
I think Ill wait until and Update comes out that doesnt destroy my investment. Thanks for going first guys...(and im sorry... seriously)

Could be a flood of people trying to download the update and overwhelming apple's server...

Bricked mine. :(
mine's f'ed....dang it's been a while since i bought new apple tech
i forgot what apple's bleeding edge is like. at first i avoided clicking restore, but i'm hoping it backed up all my settings last time i synced, which was 1 min before downloading the update.
i'm gonna try the restore next.
edit: well restore seemed to work..had to enter my preferences in itunes again. of course it will take 30 minutes to sync 8 GB over USB <sigh>
