iPod Touch order delays

I ordered my 8GB iPod Touch 2 weeks ago and it was supposed to ship yesterday, the 28th. As of this morning it hasn't. Just got off the phone with Apple and they said there are delays b/c of Typhoon Wipha that hit China. They cant cancel orders but have set me up for return when it does ship. I managed to pick one up at my local mac dealer this morning.

I still don't get it i have had my ipod touch shipped from apple store and i got it the 25th of september 3 days before it was suposed to be shipped. I don't understand why i got mine so early i put my order in the day after it came out well was announced. Maybe its becuase weve been mac owners ever since mac was started not sure any one know?
