I hear itunes can run on Wine. . .but maybe a few features don't work?

Can anyone point me to a page where I can read up on linux support to sync my music to my new iPod Touch?

Uh, it may with the recent update of wine. But as of the last time I've tried, iTunes on Linux will not sync. This is (if I can recall) to do with the usb support of wine.

iTunes was never built to run on Linux so unless you really need it to run on it then go for it, if not then you should go get a Mac:cool:

(your profile said you don't have a computer so I'm assuming that you just have a linux machine)

sounds like someone is experiencing some "accidental Linux use"

:D

Maybe the OP should experience some "accidental OSx86 use"...

sorry

linux > mac

Unless you want to use your iPod, of course.

I would just borrow some other people's reasoning,

3rd party hardwares does not support OSX is because their developers are lazy and didn't write drivers

iTunes doesn't support Linux, is because apple is lazy and didn't write it for linux.

wine can only run pretty old version of iTunes, so its not useful for iPod Touch who need latest version.

Indeed, Linux is probably too "FREE" for apple since it will be difficult to close things up on that platform
