I popped in a couple new 1gig sticks into my iMac, but now I can't seem to screw the door shut. Either the screw is a bit worn out at the tip or I'm not catching the screw guide. The door doesn't seem to sit flush with the rest of the frame! Any tips on getting it to screw tightly??

My 2 gig stick did not just slide in. Took a bit of manuvering to seat properly.

Yeah, the ram isn't seated properly. The door should close easily and flush without force.

Mine was the same way. Make sure the card is firmly in place. I would try taking it out and re-installing it. The door shoud fit flush and screw easily.

When I installed ram, i couldn't seem to get the screw in either. I was trying to screw it like one would with a traditional screw. It seemed that I had to push to screw in and then give it a quick turn.
