I'm curious about Bochs too.
Is there an OS X app version of it, or does it need to be compiled?
How well does it run on OS X? I don't mean speed, since I'm aware that it's emulation. I mean, how accurate is the emulation? I'm pretty impressed with Virtual PC, as it runs pretty much anything I throw at it.
Anybody got a screenshot on OS X?

Anybody got a screenshot on OS X? I have run MacBOCHS, the Classic version of the open source emulator. It is not nearly as nice the VPC, SoftPC, or SoftWindows. Just as an example, if you don't have a preconfigured disk image, you have to use DiskDup+ manually create your images. By that, I mean that you have to establish the proper number of cylinders and the proper number of sectors. The user experience is not a strong suit of MacBOCHS. Performance is poor compared to VPC and SoftWindows. As it stands now, BOCHS is really more of a curiosity than a legitimate threat to VPC. It can be found here. (http://bochs.sourceforge.net/)

Well, though I enjoy a good challenge, it sounds like it's more work than it's worth right now. Thanks for the info.
