apple says: Height: 20.5 inches (52.0 cm)

does that include the space between the stand and the ACTUAL computer?

yes its 20.5 from table top to top of display, including stand.

The 20 inch is 15 7/8 inches tall not including the stand.

Whatever the height is, the thing is bloody huge. It's awesome!
