I have a MacBook Pro and I just bought a 32" Samsung LCD (w/ 2 HDMI ports), a 7.1 Yamaha receiver with HDMI and the necessary 6 speakers (sub and the rest 5)...didnt get 8 spkrs cause from what I know, movies only come out in 5.1...and to play music in 7.1 in a 10ft*10ft room...might be a lil too much!
Anyhow...I want to connect the mac and the TV to the receiver...all through HDMI to have the best quality. what kind of cables do I need (other than red and black spkr cables)??
I am also thinking of getting a DVD player (with USB) later on but till then, i have plenty to watch from my mac.
