well, my hair was extremely curly.
i mean extremely.

it was so curly to the point that even moving my fingers through it would pull my hair.

for most of my life i just blowdried it in the morning.
being a guy, i hated this. i thought it was extremely stupid, but not as stupid as i thought i looked with curly hair.

well i was in some hair place, getting my hair cut and i said i get my hair cut often because its curly. they said they can chemically straighten it for me, so im like ok..... then i got it done. anyways im suprised how well it worked, and am EXTREMELY glad i dont have to BLOWDRY my hair anymore lol

Well there was an awkward growing out phase where the roots were curly and the ends were pin straight

This picture is worthless without threads. Or something like that.

My hair is wavy, and it looks like a train wreck in the morning. I just put some sort of gel in it before I fly out the door in the morning. It makes it look slightly more managed.

I sympathize, OP. I have curly hair, although not as bad as my poor brother, who is capable with only one or two skipped haircuts of growing a "jewfro". He started keeping his hair extremely short, with some textured pseudo length on top to style. Have you tried that? Is your hair fairly long for a guys (I assume so if you had enough to blowdry and chemically straighten).
