siurpeeman macrumors 603 Oct 1, 2007 #2 you can always return it, paying the restocking fee. or, you can take it to an apple store and hope that a genius will exchange it for another. or, you can keep it and be happy, not letting that lone pixel bother you.

It's not a defective screen. This is an inherent issue with LCD screens, but this issue has been beaten to death so whatever.

Although that definition may be correct, several dead pixels on a panel are not considered to be defective but normal. There is even an ISO standard that covers this I believe! Again this has been beaten to death everywhere!

gloss macrumors 601 Oct 2, 2007 #8 I just sent mine in through Applecare for dead/stuck pixels. You could try that.
