Count Ticks in a Table in Numbers

If I have a table in Numbers, which contains checkboxes is it possible to count how many are checked?

There should be a 'count' or 'countif' function. I don't have Numbers, so I'm taking a stab.

It doesn't seem to work 🙁. I've attached the spreadsheet in case someone else can help.

=COUNTIF(Term 1,"true")
