View Full Version : BootCamp & Vista HELP!! (Quick, Please!)
Hey all, I have to run Vista for some work now, and I'm having a problem with BC. I initially installed Vista on a 20GB partition via BC. Unfortunately, I need to make a larger partition (prob 25-30GB). So I used the BC assistant to restore my MBP to a single partition. When I tried to recreate a larger partition via BC, I got an error that says I need to use disk utility to restore my mac back to a single partition. Nothing I try works. How can I get this fixed so I can install Vista on a 25GB partition??

Boot off of your OS X DVD and use Disk Utility to Verify Disk your hard drive.
is that any different than just doing it when you are in OS X? i've done that already...

It sounds like you might need to erase the entire drive and start over.
Nooooooooooo!!! I have a backup of my drive, but Im always gunshy about doing a FULL restore. Besides, I was planning on doing that when I get Leopard in a few weeks (or whenever its released into the wild). Any other ways??
