Last entry: Left fedex ramp, about 2 hours ago. It hasn't arrived at an airport...the only thing that I can think of is that it's being shipped on land. which i better not be. Please, does anybody know? I really want my touch by tomorrow. Y'know, when they SAID I WOULD HAVE IT!

have you not realized that it went from china to alaska without saying anything about an airport.

No, Indianapolis is a hub for FedEx flights. Looks to me like it's going by air.

I guess that I missed my chance to go find and open your iPod at the airport today... haha

It went by air from Shanghai to Indianapolis (via Tokyo & Anchorage). Depending on where you live, truck from Indy may be right. Also, what did you pay for?

Remember, anticipation is always better than realization. Always.

Don't be such a baby Nexroth, and just wait til it gets delivered. How much moaning can one Apple product produce! Wow.

It has to be by land at some point. FedEx will have to drive it from the closest major city (which may likely have an Apple store anyway that you could have gone to)

Mine's being dropped off via helicopter. Isn't everybody's?

But the thing is...i'm in Southern california. Indianapolis isn't the closest major city to me. And I happen to know that the closest fed-ex air hub is in Ontario, California.

What makes you think it's getting shipped by land and what makes you think the plane is supposed to reach it's destination in less than 2hrs? If it's flying into SoCal that's a 4-5hr flight from Indy depending on conditions.

Yeah, but IND is the domestic hub for FedEx. Just about everything gets routed through here. If it left here today, you should have it sometime tomorrow... morning or early afternoon.

The fedex people telling me that it's being shipped by land is a good tell.

Well, that's what you get for not forking out the extra cash for faster shipping. I'm not saying that you should have done that, but you do have more money now than you would have otherwise. If you don't like the FedEx network, buy from another company next time that ships with another carrier.

Yes it is. So what's the point of this thread again?
