So, I brought my week 38 iPod in to be fixed because it had dead pixels. They were very nice and swapped it out for me however the serial number was a week 36 so I was weary. I got to my car, turned it on and it had a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen. I brought it back in but guess what? They were all out, so they let me keep this one until they get another shipment in. Kind of a bummer but at least they were nice about it.

No, no, I meant which store. Sorry for the confusion.
Different stores have different return policies (especially the apple store...)

Well there are two dead pixels but the major one s right in the middle of the screen. If I took the time to drive down there, shouldn't I get one that works right?

It should have NO dead pixels. I don't know why you're asking that, like he should settle for a defective screen?
