Hey, anyone just bought an iPhone? anyone please confirm that all the iPhone before week 38 are come with firmware 1.0.2? if not, Please tell me which week?
I want to get an iPhone and want to get the 1.0.2 Thanks:)

I bought one yesterday from AT&T and it had 1.0 on it. I think you have a better chance at AT&T to get the older firmwares.

How can you tell which software version without activate the iPhone? I can see only firmware but not the version like 1.0.2 or 1.1.1

Along these lines, how do you know what week your iPhone is??? Can you tell without opening the box?

Agreed, I got an phone from an AT&T store, and it had 1.0.2, week 30.

I bought my iPhone from an Apple retail store and it was a week 38 with the 1.0.2 Im sure the Apple retail stores sell more iPhones than the AT&T stores do, so the AT&T stores most likely will have the earlier week iPhones.

I got a week 38 phone last Thursday and it had 1.0.2 on it. :)

Several people have purchased a 1.1.1 phone so far, so they ARE out there! Hit or miss..........

Along these lines, how do you know what week your iPhone is??? Can you tell without opening the box?

The week is the 4th and 5th digits of the phones serial number which is written on the back of the box. For instance, my phones serial number is 7T738******, so that means it's a week 38 phone.
