We were blessed by Canon's president today.
We got to be the first people in the United States of America to see the brand new Canon DM-50. It also happens to be the only one currently in the Northern Hemisphere. We used our brand new iMac's to test out this beautiful peace of equipment.

The DM-50? The mic? I've had that for like 6 months now, and it was old when I bought it. Maybe you were talking about the camcorder, which looks to be some sort of new HD model.

Maybe he meant Canon's new HG10

Uses AVCHD. Specs aren't bad for its size.
