Sweet, hope it handles all those RAR files that Stuffit can't seem to open...

They are already is a progam that *extracts* But not makes them.

I think this is what the App does.

unrarX works fine for me. i dont see anything about this app that makes it any better. winrar is still the best app for compression i have used.

You obviously haven't used this app then. unrarX does something completely different. This app doesn't claim to compete with unrarX. It *makes* rars rather than *extracting* them. WinRar is a great program, and one which this program can't expect to compete with. It's not trying to be the best rar application on any platform, it's just trying to fill a gap in the OS X software market.

It's 0.2 freeware, not a fancy program made by a proper software company. It works pretty well. Give it a break. Or will you use your PC to make rars instead? If so, why go to the effort of bashing a free program you don't need because you have a PC?

Under the screen shots it says in big bold letters "Download RarMe!". The design of the page means that if you have your browser window small you'll easily miss it though.

Wow, bad design there. You can't scroll down, and in order to make the window big enough to get to the link, I had to hide the Dock.

Edit: I just emailed him about the problem, hopefully the link will be moved, or ability to scroll added.
