I have an HP Officejet all in one and want to use it to scan on my macbook pro. I was wondering what an easy solution for scanning software would be. I don't need anything fancy like text recognition. Just something that won't have too many options so I can scan a picture and import it into iPhoto. I don't think that iPhoto has a scanning feature, does it? What scanning applications do you use? I know that the all in one is compatible because I use it to print.
Thanks in advance.

The scanning software should have been included on one of the install disks that came with the HP. That's how it works with printers, scanners, etc. You need to install the included software to fully utilize the machine ;)

Vuescan works well for me:

With this all of the other junk that the HP CD installs won't be installed. It's shareware though.
