Heard this on KRCC (my favorite free form show--Jeff Bieri's voice is amazing) and ordered it. Just got it courtesy of Amazon, and have listened to it twice. It is simply gorgeous! A fabulous album--everyone should go out and get it right now!

Thanks for the suggestion. I just got into him as well.

Really disappointed in it, personally... after his first two albums which are some of my personal faves. And even after a dozen or so plays, it still strikes me as a little hurried and samey. The clipping is also tiring to listen to after a while. My first thought upon hearing it was that was like a poor Lush album with extra cheese.
I like Lush though. :)

Heh! Actually, I thought this the best of the trilogy. The first two just don't move me the same way.....Funny how musical tastes differ, isn't it?
Just read this on allmusic.com and I think it captures the difference pretty well: "Schnauss' departure from electro to ambient."

Ambient? Nothing like it at all... More like shoegaze. Think it's a very self-indulgent album; but it's OK, not nearly his best. But that's just me.
