iPhone Wi-Fi Issues

I've recently bought and unlocked an iPhone and I've been having trouble getting it to work on my home wi-fi. The phone works fine on my wi-fi network at work but not at home. I've tried hardbooting and restoring the iPhone but every time I try to connect to my home network I get an error messages saying "Unable to Join Network x".

The network is unlocked and unsecured and I have no problem joining it on my Mac. Has anyone had similar troubles?

So no password? Odd. Ok, how about the wireless version? Do you have it set to g only, b only, etc? What base station do you have anyway?
