View Full Version : How to put videos on PSP?

I just got this PSP. I know that it uses .MP4, and that I need to put the video files in MP_ROOT --> MNV100 --> VIDEO. I have done all of that, but to no avail.

I used iSquint to convert the .avi videos to .mp4.

Can anyone chime in on this? I'm leaving for a week for business in about 4 hours, so any input before that would REALLY be appreciated! :D

Oh, and I have the new 3.71 firmware.

Thanks.

Thanks, man. I actually found PSPWare and will give it a try. It's converting the videos now. Hopefully, it works.

PSPWare works well for converting movies. There is another app that I use from time to time but it is windows only so I am not sure if that would work for you. The Windows app seems to take less time transcoding the video for the PSP and usually has less audio lag. PSPWare is usually ok, but at times creates some audio lag and takes ages to transcode a full length movie.

Good Luck
