My Adium and Firefox apps are using unusually large amounts of memory causing a shortage of physical memory, thus lagging my mac down every two seconds. I think it's using way more memory than it should. Also before I did a clean install my mac never had this problem of running short on memory. I use to even fold at the same time while having Photoshop, Adium, and Firefox open, but now Adium and Firefox use more memory than photoshop and folding combined.
