Could i get some feedback on this vid...?

Hey guys really need your help on this. I'm not sure if my touch is rendering blacks correctly. Here's a clip from the movie 300 :

I just wanna get some feedback whether you get a negative black effect in the beginning on the dark parts of the spinning head that got chopped off and following that, the blacks under the elephant.

Will try to post some pictures of mine when i get a camera.. but for now i'd be really grateful if i could get your opinions.

My iPod Touch renders it nearly the same as my iMac screen.
The touch is a little bit different.

Are you getting a shimmery effect during the clip?

i'm getting a very slight negative effect on the dark parts of the head.. as well as under the elephant. Is that what you mean?

Well, from what I viewed on these forums, and on my own iPod Touch, the ipod has either a shimmery, nearly glittery, effect of dark blacks.

If you want, you can give me the exact time of these scenes and I can post pictures of my Touch displaying them.

Hmm mine doesnt look as good.. do you mind dl-ing the clip i put up on the first post? Thing is i don't see a problem when i do this colour gradient test and ones like these: http://appleservedup.com/

but i notice them in vids.. the ones I encode and dl from itunes. A good example would be 50 cent's ayo technology music vid from the itunes store. The first part where you see the shadow on 50 cent's face.. Sigh if only I had a camera.

It would help heaps if you could post pics of the clip I put up at 0.08 secs and 0.16 secs..
