Looks like .Mac might be getting hammered by Sobig.

We are experiencing slow network performance at this time. Some customers may experience a delay in receiving mail. We expect normal performance to return shortly. Thank you for your patience.

I haven't gotten any email notifications from MR in a while, and the last round was pretty delayed...

The virus does not infect Macs, but Mac users still receive hundreds of the messages per day from infected Windows PCs.

Increased traffic.

Any people on PCs infected with Sobig that have anyone with .Mac email addresses in their address books, or even in their browser's web cache will try to send them the virus. In addition to that, they will spoof the email addresses they find, leading to all kinds of "returned" mail to the .Mac servers.

Sobig is client-side, not server-side, so far as I've seen, so the servers being used are irrelevant.
