Ok, after much hullabaloo, I'm finally ready to sell my Macbook.

Mint condition, comes with Red Sleeve and power supply pouch, manuals and CDs, everything but the box. Purchased December '06, with Applecare until the end of this year.

$900 shipped to the continental US. Only interested in trades for a DSLR or an mp3 player to offset the costs.

The core 2 duo macbooks came out less than a year ago. So regardless of the purchase date, Apple Care can still be extended.

Not quite. The core 2 duos came out Nov, so the complimentary care is almost up. Better snatch before Nov. rolls around for units that were among the first purchased.

Well, he never said when he bought it. Chances are that he wasn't waiting in line on the day that they first came out. And it was 8 November. That leaves the buyer with more than three weeks if the guy did purchase it on 8/11. If he bought it in February, the owner has until Feb to buy apple care.

The OP does state that he bought it in December '06. So that leaves two months-ish to get AppleCare. Looks like a nice price :)
