If I were to Download House, what resolution are they? Are they good enough to watch on my computer?

The TV shows are 640x480 resolution, officially. The previews are the same resolution as the downloaded show so take a gander at a preview and see if it's good enough for you.

So I'm sorry I'm being ignorant, but... are shows like House still coming in a 4:3 format, or are they in 720x404 or whatever 16:9 resolution?

I don't know about House but some shows are in a widescreen format. However, the width (640 pixels) is the "max" so a widescreen show will be something like 640x360
