I purchased a Mac Book a few weeks ago (my first apple). I have been trying to burn and copy some of my DVDs. I have downloaded Mac the Ripper and a co-worker gave me a program called Popcorn. I've been able to rip the DVDs on the computer, but every time I drag the Video_TS folder into Popcorn, it shuts itself down. Popcorn just closes out completely. Now the files I have ripped from the disc are being deleted. Plus when I turn my MacBook off, Mac the ripper is deleted. Any ideas?

Try movie only setting, in mac the ripper. On a side note, IMO popcorns, not the best for all movie rips. You might want to check out DVD2oneX, Please check out the official mac the ripper forums at ripdifferent.com
