Uh, folks...read some reviews on WD external drives. A lot of them say the things are really slow, in spite of the claimed rpm. I've found that to be my experience too, and I'm sorry I bought the thing. I shoulda spent a little more for a Seagate or LaCie.

I got suckered into something like this with MacMall. After they shipped out 1/2 the orders on ram incorrectly priced, they cancelled many others. Technically, you (and I and others) do have a case - an agreement has been made with your payment, and so forth.

But hell, really. It's not a big deal. It's a deal too good to be intentional, we all knew it, it didn't turn out the way we'd hoped, life's back to normal now. Not worth fighting over.
