5.5 G 80GB iPod. I just noticed when the harddrive is being accessed it makes a buzzing sound and the harddrive is very clicky. It is not really loud and I can only hear it if i put it close to my ear but it sounds bad when it is that close. Should I be concerned and bring it to apple or wait until my hdd eventually dies?

Clicking generally means the drive is failing. For the meantime, use Disk Utility to try repairing the drive, if it can or indeed needs to. 🙂

If it is on the verge of failing...which I hope not. I would take it to an apple store while it is still under warranty for them to look at.
