MBP 2.33 DVD problem

When I attempt to skip backward in chapters it seems to freeze up. Any ideas what the problem could be. It happens just about every time.

Is this common? Really annoying!!!

i didn't use a video dvd in my mbpro yet but does it happen with all of your discs?
