Whilst jailbreaking my touch, I had a peek around the captured ROM image and it looks as if all the support software for Bluetooth is on the ROM (/Library/Frameworks/BluetoothManager.Framework, /Library/PreferenceBundles/BluetoothSettings.bundle, /etc/bluetool directory, /usr/BlueTool). It could just be that Apple have a common ROM for both the iPhone and iPod, but it could also be that there's something hidden in the iPod...

there may be files that hint at it, but its impossible its been taken apart by many people and examined, there is not bluetooth hardware at all.
