Who here likes this album? I personally love it, and have been listening to it constantly since the day it came out. Songs like The Pretender, Stranger Things Have Happened Here, and Summers End are really great songs, and I can't stop playing them.

... have only listened to the pretenders (great track) but after that song ears start to really hurt as tracks on album are so highly compressed so every instrument and voice start muddying together as i'm sure they're great songs lyrically and well-performed but the studio engineering on them makes it really uncomfortable to listen for extended periods...

I love the album. Third best release they have done.
My favorite track is Let it Die, other two favorites are Home and the Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners. But really it's just another quality release from rock and roll professionals.

I've been wondering just how good it is. You all seem to be fans here! I think it's worth giving a try.

It is an awesome album !!! I like all their tracks ! Foo Fighters is sort of the continuation of Nirvana. Since I LOVE Nirvana, I LOVE the Foo Fighters !!! Amazing band ! Their best song though, will always remain "My Hero"...
But, yeah, great album !
