View Full Version : Did KT Tunstall sleep with Steve Jobs?

I've been arguing with a friend of mine about this over email, and he is convinced that KT Tunstall slept with Steve Jobs to get herself promoted on iTunes, and in Starbucks and stuff. Here's what he said in his last email:
"You keep saying stuff to the effect of 'there's no way that happened, you're insane,' but let me remind you that if she did in fact sleep with him to get herself promoted on iTunes, in Starbucks, and given the opportunity to perform at the iPod keynote, then Steve, KT, and anyone else involved would be doing everything in their power to make sure that you continue to think that it's an absurd idea. So if it's true, and you think i'm insane, that just means that they've covered their tracks well."
I hadn't heard of this theory before my friend suggested it to me. I just wanted to see if anyone else had similar thoughts.
Thanks.

What a misogynist to think that rather than being promoted because she's a talented signer-songwriter, it's because she screwed around.
Does he also believe that Jobs has slept with other Apple Event performers like John Legend?

I don't know. But he says that when Steve Jobs announced KT, he said "She's hot!" And then he said there's something fishy about the distance they kept between them when they hugged, as if they were afraid of showing anything.

Good luck to him ! Although i would say he could have done much better.
Taking things a little further......Perhaps Paul McCartney's trying to get Steve Jobs into bed too now that he's single, Steve's reluctance is perhaps why The Beatles are not yet on itunes?

Well John Mayer has played way more Apple events than KT. And he and Steve never hug at all. What are *they* trying to hide?

1) Why is this even being discussed?
2) Why is it in music discussions?
3) Even in the remotest chance it was true, who cares?

Or how about U2, The Gorillaz, John Mayer or the countless number of musical acts that have been heavily promoted by Apple in one way or another.

Odd, this discussion also came up when Sarah McLachlan played.

Yes, but to be fair the OP is the one calling this ridiculous.
It's his friend that's a sexist drivel.

I'd be more suspicious over Corrine Bailey Rae, with the iPod Touch boxes. I didn't she was heard of outside of the UK.
But it's a load of rubbish. Of course they didn't.

Well, under Steve's own admission, he and Bill Gates have been secretly married (http://www.geocities.com/classicarnie/t_GIVCLOT.wav) for several years... so you never know.
