Is anyone else getting really bad network performance from their touches? SSH and SFTP performance is very laggy. Ping response time is also (unsurprisingly) terrible and goes up and down like crazy:

PING 192.168.0.4 (192.168.0.4): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 192.168.0.4: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=51.678 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.4: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=75.542 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.4: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=406.505 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.4: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=20.983 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.4: icmp_seq=4 ttl=64 time=44.762 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.0.4: icmp_seq=5 ttl=64 time=580.762 ms

Loading web pages, downloading songs off of iTunes and browsing Youtube is fine (which makes sense I guess because the response times don't matter).

At first I thought it was because my touch was in standby mode (screen off, music playing), but even with the screen on and active it was no better. All the other devices on my wireless network respond fine. My touch is currently sat about 30cm away from my WAP.

Am I alone with this problem?

I was yesterday. For some reason, it's much better today.

I really don't know why, less the thunderstorm.

My apps are installing better today too...?
